    The beginning of a business

Larry Stevens and Chris Swires work together on a quote for a customer in their first office.

EnviroCon Systems was founded in 1995 by Gregg DeJarnett, Larry Stevens, and Chris Swires. The three met in the early 90s while working on industrial projects at Gundle Lining Systems, a publicly held company that manufactured and installed polyethylene liners.

In mid-1995, Gundle Lining Systems merged with another company to form Gundle/SLT Environmental (GSE) and soon announced they would no longer perform industrial work. This decision motivated the three men to create a business plan, and within months, EnviroCon Systems was born. Its reputation as a safety-oriented organization resulted in significant growth, and eventually, GSE added EnviroCon Systems to their dealer network. The company continued to grow and ultimately expanded manufacturing and installation efforts to include liners and HDPE pipes.

EnviroCon Systems now operates on 10 acres, complete with two extensive manufacturing facilities and a large central office. What's more, they have created a full-service fabrication department and continue to keep employee and customer safety at the forefront.
